It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…NOT!

If it wasn't for the endless Christmas music the stores have been playing since Halloween and the decorations on peoples homes you wouldn't know its Christmas.
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas and it's not going to happen. It has been raining for the last two weeks and this weeks forecast? Yup rain. I am finding it very hard to get in the spirit of things for a brown Christmas.

Why Men are Happier than Women

Afriend just sent me this.

Men Are Just Happier People -- What do you expect from such simple creatures? Your last name stays put. The garage is all yours. Wedding plans take care of themselves.. Chocolate is just another snack. You can be the US President. You can never be pregnant. You can wear a white T-shirt to a water park. You can wear NO shirt to a water park. Car mechanics tell you the truth. The world is your urinal. You never have to drive to another gas station restroom because this one is just too icky. You don't have to stop and think of which way to turn a nut on a bolt. Same work, more pay. Wrinkles add character > NOT . Wedding dress $5000. Tux rental-$100. People never stare at your chest when you're talking to them. The occasional well-rendered belch is practically expected. New shoes don't cut , blister or mangle your feet. One mood all the time.Phone conversations are over in 30 seconds flat. You know stuff about tanks. A five-day vacation requires only one suitcase. You can open all your own jars. You get extra credit for the slightest act of thoughtfulness. If someone forgets to invite you, he or she can still be your friend.Your underwear is $8.95 for a three-pack. Three pairs of shoes are more than enough. You almost never have strap problems in public. You are unable to see wrinkles in your clothes. Everything on your face stays its original color. The same hairstyle lasts for years, maybe decades. You only have to shave your face and neck. You can play with toys all your life. Your belly usually hides your big hips. One wallet and one pair of shoes one color for all seasons. You can wear shorts no matter how your legs look. You can "do" your nails with a pocket knife. You have freedom of choice concerning growing a mustache. You can do Christmas shopping for 25 relatives on December 24 in 25 minutes. No wonder men are happier.

Tired

I am thinking about a career change. I am tired of the constant arguing and debating with coworkers about how things should be done. I have one coworker in particular who is driving me crazy well not just me everyone else to but we will leave that for another day. Everything no mater how insignificant has to be debated for example the other day we had a piece of equipment fail. I looked it over and discovered the problem was a bad relay something that would have taken me about two minutes to fix. I went back into the workshop to get a new relay and my coworker is waiting with the typical question “so what’s wrong” I say a relay needs to be replaced and this leads into the next question “Why?” ah duh because this one is bad and needs to be replaced. Followed by “But why are you sure it’s a relay maybe it’s a bad wire or the system is not working right” from here we go into an hour long discussion where I explain over and over again why it’s a bad relay and not all the other suggested problems and explain until I’m blue in the face that sometimes these things happen the relay just went nothing caused it to go it was probably just faulty. I get frustrated to the point where I just leave with a new relay in hand and go replace the bad one. Replacing the relay solves the problem and all is well again. I return to the CER (central equipment room for those who don’t know) to find my coworker going the system trying to find the problem because “It can’t be relay” I say what’s up and in return get the following “just trying to find the problem” I reply I changed the relay everything if working now and just walk away shaking my head and wondering what will the next debate be about. I am tired of this I spent an hour explaining the problem for that hour the system was down I could have had it fixed in under two minutes but that would have been too easy. Why cant we just fix a problem when it arises why do we have to pick it to death first?
